Do we do music lessons at Simply Music? Do we ever!

We are the largest music lessons center in northern British Columbia, with several hundred students a year. We offer music lessons in a broad range of instruments from voice and piano to guitar, violin, flute, drums and more!
We pride ourselves on having exceptional instructors who are both skilled musicians, but more importantly, excellent music teachers.We believe that learning music should be fun and exciting! Many of our programs can be custom designed for each student. We can cater to exactly what music styles and techniques our students are looking to learn.

Anyone can take music lessons from Simply Music

Our students range in age from babies to the young at heart. Musicians at any skill level can start lessons. We have an extensive music program reaching several hundred students every year!

DRUMS

If you have the beat in you and never had a chance to develop it, now is your opportunity.

Simply Music offers beginner to intermediate kit drum lessons, as well as rudimental lessons for those going into band. Discoveries have shown that the drum beat is an excellent way to teach academics and help increase your learning capacity.
Drums may be one of the easiest instruments for someone with a bit of musical background to sit down at and quickly gain the skills required to jam with friends, but only those that take the time to learn the theory and rudiments of the instrument can shine as a skilled and knowledgeable player.
So weather you're a new player, or an experienced player that has never developed a theoretic foundation for your playing, lessons will surely improve your skills to levels never imagined.

Kindermusik

Kindermusik is a music and movement program for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers, accompanied by a parent or caregiver

In class, you'll play, listen, sing (encouraged, but optional!), move, dance, and giggle with your child. It's lots of fun and the best part is that your child will be learning and developing skills along the way. All the Kindermusic activities are designed to stimulate your child's brain, strengthen developing neurons, build gross and fine motor skills, enhance social-emotional development, and much more.
A trained, licensed Kindermusik educator seamlessly guides the class from one activity to the next. With expertise in childhood development, they will help you understand what your child is gaining from Kindermusik. Our age-based curriculum combines the latest research with proven methods. If you're familiar with music education pioneers such as Orff, Kodaly, and Suzuki, you'll find their influence woven throughout the Kindermusik program.
Along with the classroom experience, you'll also get our fantastic take-home materials. These materials help you bring the Kindermusik experience home, not only to continue the learning, but to continue all the fun!

Guitar

Simply Music offers guitar lessons for all levels right from absolute beginners to advanced students.

Our excellent music teachers will guide you through all aspects of guitar playing. You'll learn strumming, rhythm, music theory, note reading, tablature, finger picking, picking, and guitar maintenance.
Our Music program incorporates all genres from classical guitar to classic rock. Just let us know what you want to learn and we'll design a program that's right for you.
We'll help you on your way to shredding on your electric or finger picking on your acoustic!

Voice

Do you love to sing, but lack the confidence to share your voice with others? Are you a vocalist who needs tips on how to make your performances stronger?

Our voice lessons will help you take control of your voice and give you the confidence you need to do what you've always wanted to do. We offer voice lessons to individuals of different ages and levels of experience. The program is designed specifically for each student, and our music teachers offer training in a variety of vocal styles.
Our students come from all different backgrounds! Whether you sing in the shower, a church choir or local rock band our instructors can help you to explore all that your voice has to offer. Is piano your passion? Have you always wanted to play but thought it would be just to much work to learn how?

Or maybe you're a seasoned panist that would love to bring your skills to another level. Simply Music has several gifted piano teachers who will have you playing home concerts in no time flat.
Students can learn a variety of styles based on their interests ranging from contemporary, pop, jazz, blues, and classical. Learn to read music and play all of your favourite songs! We have many opportunities during the week to tickle the ivories.
Lessons can be scheduled between Monday to Friday.
