Paulette

Paulette is the manager of Simply Music and is a licensed educator with the world renowned Kindermusik program.

Looking throughout her lifetime, she notes that she taught and pioneered many interesting programs, including getting licensed with Kindermusik International. Her first memories of teaching go back to the age of 11. She looks back now and wonders how she did what she did starting at such a young age. One thing about Paulette people notice is that she definitely marches to her own beat. I guess that is why she's a natural bassist and has been for 25 years. What can I say!!

She gets right in the swing of things. I guess that is what drives her to do what she does now, manage Simply Music, work with family members and other awesome staff, teach Kindermusik, and work with lots of great students on a daily basis. What else could a person ask for!!

Wendy

This is Wendy’s 9th year of teaching at the studio, with students ranging in age from 7 to 75! She has also assisted in Kindermusik classes and enjoys it very much. In her words, “ where else do you get to act like a kid and actually teach children something?!”

Wendy has performed at festivals, recitals, church services, a few weddings and for family and friends. Wendy’s father jokes about getting “ a return on his investment” when Wendy and her siblings get together to play music! She credits her parents, especially her mother, for encouraging her to keep on with playing even through tough practise sessions.

Wendy’s greatest reward in teaching is when a student finds joy in their music.

Mrs. Rie

Mrs. Rie was born in Japan and started her piano studies at the age of six. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music from Central Connecticut State University and Master of Music in Piano Performance from The Hartt School, University of Hartford, Connecticut, USA.

She has participated masterclasses in Prague, Belgium and performed numerous solo and chamber recitals throughout Connecticut. Mrs. Rie has taught at Bethwood Suzuki Music School and Neighborhood Music School in New Haven, Connecticut. She is certified Suzuki piano teacher for book 1-3 and has been in Simply Music since 2011.

Miss Geilan

Miss Geilan began her music experience playing the violin when she was 10 years old. Later when her family moved and violin lessons were not available she switched to the flute. Playing with community band groups has given her great learning and growth experiences.

Music has been a lifelong passion, which she now passes along to her two young daughters ages 7 and 3. Both her children have been enrolled in Kindermusik and the oldest graduated after attending the complete 7 year program. Miss Geilan's friendly, welcoming personality will encourage parents to engage with their children and enjoy all that Kindermusik has to offer in a no pressure environment.

Lavonne

Lavonne Anderson is an acmplished vilolinist and singer. She teaches both voice and violin lessons here at Simply Music

Tammy Saunderson is the owner of Simply Music. She teaches piano, guitar, Kindermusik & Kindermusik choir
